Homer G. Graham

Homer G. Graham, age 82, of Liberty, IL, died on Friday, January 22, 2016 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1933 in Beverly Township, Adams County, the son of John E. & Tenna Fern (Likes) Graham. He married Betty J. Mowen on November 30, 1957. She survives. Mr. Graham was a graduate of Liberty High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Graham worked as a Union Construction Laborer for Local 919.

Mr. Graham was a longtime member of the Liberty American Legion. Homer was an extreme outdoorsman. He loved to fish, mushroom hunt, and garden. He also greatly enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler and traveling. Homer loved to attend his grandkids sporting events and spend time with his entire family.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
FOUR SONS: Randy Graham and his wife Stefanie of Boonville, MO: Jeff Graham and his wife Michele; Greg Graham and his wife Lorie; and Bradley Graham and his wife Traci all of Liberty.
EIGHT GRANDCHILDREN: Sean Graham and his wife Amie; Ethan Graham; Megan Graham; Kody Graham; Logan Graham; Lanessa Graham; Jackilyn Graham and Evan Graham.
ONE BROTHER; Francis Graham
ONE SISTER: Wilma Meador
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

In addition to his parents, Homer was also preceded in death by: a son Travis Graham; Three Brothers: John D. Graham along with his wife Erma; Burle Graham along with his wife Imogene; and Rodell Graham. A brother-in-law: Clyde Meador.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Kingston Cemetery with military rites at the cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home in Quincy. Memorials may be made to the Kingston Cemetery Association.
