Helen M. Barry, age 70, of the North Adams Home in Mendon, IL died on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1943 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Charles F. & Freda (Bentley) Fisher. She married Ron Barry on February 27, 1972. He preceded her in death. Helen was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She liked to play her piano and listen to Christian Music. Helen’s greatest enjoyment was her family. She always had a smile when she saw her ‘grandbabies’.

Helen is survived by:
FIVE CHILDREN: Vicki Cannell and her husband Brent of Mendon, IL; Becky Shank and her husband John of Mt. Sterling, IL; Tina Shank and her husband Dave of Mendon, IL; Daniel Barry and his wife Rose of Quincy and Dave Barry of Payson, IL.
EIGHT GRANDCHILDREN: Ken Shannon, Cody Shannon and his wife Tiffany; Jason Shank and his wife Sandy; Karissa Blackwell and her husband Rick; Kendra Cole and her husband Michael; David “Jr” Shank; Elizabeth Shank and David “Davey” Barry
TWO STEP-GRANDCHILDREN: Daniel Cannell and Daron Cannell and his wife Amy
13 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN,
TWO BROTHERS: John Fisher and Gary Fisher and his wife Diane;
TWO SISTERS: Betty Hessling and her husband Tom and Carolyn Hamann and her husband Steve.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the North Adams Home or Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
