HELEN E. JENKINS OBITUARY

Helen E. Jenkins, age 78, of 2130 Harrison, formerly of 828 North 8th St., died on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 6:10 AM in Blessing Hospital. She was born on August 22, 1929, the daughter of Helen (Johnson) and Garrett Jenkins. Helen worked at St. Mary Hospital until her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Arlinda of Quincy, Paul Jenkins of AK, and James Jenkins of IA ;
7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren;
Niece: Wanda Bell;
Brother-in-Law: Albert Thompson
Numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters: Evelyn Roberts, Eleanor Thompson, and Thelma Young.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
