Helen E. Griffin, age 74, of Payson, died on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Blessing Hospital. Helen was born on March 4, 1946 in Quincy to Benjamin Tuttle and Gertrude Thomas.

Helen worked as a welder for Knapheide Manufacturing in Quincy for many years. Helen was a member of the Machinists Lodge 822 and enjoyed vacationing, going fishing and spending time with her family.

Helen is survived by her children, Linda Vanwinsen of Payson, Rebecca “Diane” Liebig of Quincy, Wanda Watson of Custer Park, IL, and Donald “Donzo” Griffin of Quincy; her siblings, Carol Watson of KY, Donny McQueen of Quincy, Ray Tuttle of IA and Richie McQueen of Quincy. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Shirley Simmons and Laura Klossing.

Cremation has been accorded to Helen. No formal services are planned for her at this time. Arrangements are in the care of the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
