Heidi Marie Heitman

Heidi Marie Heitman, age 55 of Quincy, died Saturday evening November 26, 2022 at Blessing Hospital. Heidi was born in Quincy on December 19th, 1966, daughter of Lester H. And Ginger (Booher) Heitman.
She was married to Clay Moore, and together they had their daughter, Ashley.
For the last ten years she has worked at Quincy’s Hobby Lobby, most recently as the Frame Shop Manager. She was a hard worker, very detailed, and was great with her customers who loved her.
Heidi was a graduate of Camp Point Central High School where she played the trumpet in the school band all four years. She attended Gem City College studying cosmetology and horology, and she graduated from John Wood Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design.
She was creative, liked photography, art, and watercolor painting. Heidi loved her pets and watching t.v. and movies with Ashley.
She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughter Ashley Moore and her fiancé, Andrew Wolter of Quincy.
Her mom, Ginger Heitman of Quincy; a brother, Heath Heitman and his wife Meagan of Hannibal, MO.
Her dad and her maternal and paternal grandparents preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Quincy IL on December 10 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
Memorials are suggested to the Quincy Humane Society,the Blessing Cancer Center,or the Simmons Institute at the SIU School of Medicine, 315 W. Carpenter St. Springfield, IL 62702.
