Hazel Hutson, age 91, of the Sunset Home, died on Sunday, June 22, 2014 in the Home. She was born on January 9, 1923 in Martinsburg, IL the daughter of William Arthur and Veda (Conroy) Stone. She married Alan Hutson in November of 1943. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hutson was a LPN in the Quincy area and had also formerly been proprietor of a bookstore in Quincy. She was of the Christian Faith. Haxel read constantly and was a fan of Basketball and the Chicago Bulls.

She is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Deborah Norris of Springfield, IL and Dennis Hutson and his wife Barbara of Houston, TX
ONE DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Barbara Hutson also of Houston, TX
FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: Margaret Hutson, Don Norris, Pansy Hutson and Dennis Hutson Jr. and his wife Michelle.
ONE GREAT-GRANDSON: Ryan Hayes.
ONE BROTHER: Donald Stone
Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son: William Hutson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the services at 1:00. Memorials may be made to the Sunset Home Activity Fund.
