I only had the privilege of visiting Hazel at the Gardens at Osage, but we became fast friends and we both looked forward to our conversations about everything under the sun! I marveled at her intelligence and her ability to continue to produce many beautiful handmade items- always to give away to someone dear to her or to whom she wanted to express her appreciation. I miss seeing her as I pass her room on my way to visit others. She will always hold a special place in my heart. May God comfort you and assure you your dear mother has reached her heavenly home.
    My heartfelt condolences,
    Pam Willis

    Millie and Robin,
My deepest sympathy in the loss of your wonderful mother. I still use the sewing box she gave me 45 years ago and will always remember her and her love of sewing and crafts. Thinking of you at this sad time and sending prayers.

Hazel was strong-willed, with a kind, sweet, heart who dearly loved her grandchildren and never hesitated to extend a hand to someone.
