Harvey Leroy Crabtree, Jr.
Harvey Leroy Crabtree Jr., age 71, formerly of Quincy, IL died on Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Infinity Hospice Care Las Vegas, NV. Harvey was born in Quincy on November 02, 1950, a son of Harvey L. and Marjorie L. (Drummond) Crabtree. He married his late wife Patricia Ann McDaniel on July 28, 1990.
From a young age Harvey enjoyed outdoor recreation, swimming, working on boats, racing boats, and being on the water. After serving as a Sergeant in the Marine Corp, he worked as a certified pipefitter on the railroad and boat mechanic at a major marina. He enjoyed bowling and was a league member for many years. Harvey was a recorded member of the Southern Baptist Church in Quincy, IL.
He is survived by his children Michelle Annette and Michael Heller, Olney, IL, Jennifer Lynn, Olney, IL Jeanette Lea and Kevin Langley, Weatherford, TX, Harvey Leroy Crabtree III, Quincy, IL, and Matthew Esauk, Olney, IL
Also survived by his grandchildren. Andrew, Daniel, Issac, Ashley and husband Devon, Casey and Emily. Kimberly and husband Austin, David and wife Netanya, Brandy and fiancé Tyler. Roslyn and husband Jordan, Rachel and fiancé Brady, Rayanne and husband Tyler, and Rebekah and fiancé William, Angel Robinstein.
And great grandchildren, Phoebe, Ryker, Juliette, Lainee, Aurora, Asher, Adilynn, Karmen, Kinzley, Orabell, Kellz, Oaklea, Raylynn, Korbyn, Sadie, Samuel, Remyorien and Heaven Herlihy. And two on the way.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters Mark Crabtree Sr., Las Vegas, NV, Danny Crabtree, Quincy, IL, Steve and wife Barb Crabtree, Quincy, IL, Elizabeth and husband Bill (Smokey) Akers Payson, IL, and Christine Foster, Linneus, MO.
He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Quincy, IL, and his brothers James (Sonny) Leroy Crabtree and Terry Crabtree, Quincy, IL and great granddaughter Karinthian Angel.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Quincy. There will be no formal visitation, but friends are invited to the graveside services.
