Harry E. White

Harry E. White, age 91, of the Sycamore Health Care Center, Quincy, died on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 11:20 a.m. in the home. He was born on October 14, 1923 in Palmyra, MO, a son of John Thomas & Lucinda (Hartman) White.

Mr. White served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He spent his career as a truck driver and mechanic, retiring from International Harvester.

He loved the outdoors and spent much time fishing and hunting.

He is survived by:
TWO SONS, Leonard White of Mayer, AZ and Kenneth White of Phoenix, AZ
TWO DAUGHTERS, Dolores Sweeting of Quincy and Sandra White of Mayer, AZ
TWO BROTHERS, Paul White of Palmyra, MO and Wayne White of LaGrange, MO
ONE SISTER, Lucile White of Palmyra, MO
Survivors also include numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Donald, Winston, Gilbert, Virgil, Leo and Oscar White; and two sisters, Louise White Copeland and Delores White.

No services are scheduled at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
