Harold E. Failor, age 81, of 4005 Maine St., Briarwood Court, died on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 7:45 PM in his home. He was born on November 3, 1931 in Marion County, MO the son of Harry & Eideth (Moon) Failor. Harold worked for many years for the Illinois Veterans Home as a maintenance worker. He also worked for a brief time for the railroad. Harold was a member of Central Baptist Church. Harold participated in Adult Scouts, the Central Baptist Church Sunday School and Special Olympics.

He is survived by:
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives along with many good friends, including Orville Hale, Russell Hess and Angela Solter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Central Baptist Church. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
