We the family of Eddie Fletcher would like to offer our condolences to the family of Harold N. Douglas, Jr. I always thought Harold paid homage to his parents because he always signed his complete name with the middle initial and Junior on the end. I was privileged to have went fishing with Harold on a couple of occasions. I felt honored that he trusted me enough to spend some time and share some conversations. In the past days I was amazed how much my children remember of our interactions with Harold as we discussed his passing. We all know that Harold did not waste conversation of folks he was not close enough to be family or friend. Harold always impressed me how well he handled his affairs and much he read to make sure he knew what his role was in everything. While I will miss his quiet resolve, I feel thankful that he allowed me in his world as a friend. Rest In Peace my friend, Edward C. Fletcher, Sr.

I was Harolds helper for the last 3 years of his life. Harold was a lovely man, he was quiet but he was shaper than a tack! He liked to dress well and he looked forward to getting lottery tickets throughout the week! I would see him on his motorized wheel chair racing back to his apartment because he knew I would be coming! It brought a smile to my face! He was a man not with many words but he always had a good day and afarewell till I came the next time! He was the kind of person you would love to love because he was so kind, so gentle and never wanted you to fuss over him! I will miss him so very much, I saw him 3 times a week for the first couple of years and then 2 days a week thereafter. He will always have a soft spot in my heart and I am so sorry for his family, I send my condolences to all of you and you will be in my prayers!
