Gregory A. “Greg” Holtschlag
Gregory A. ‘Greg’ Holtschlag, age 64, of Quincy, died on Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on July 8, 1958 in Quincy, Il the son of Arthur L. & Audrey (Allen) Holtschlag.
Greg worked for Titan Wheel for many years. He also had served in the United States Army.
Greg was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed playing cards, collecting antiques and garage sales. He was an avid CUBS fan. Most of all, he loved spending his time with his family, especially the grandkids and his friends.
He is survived by:
HIS CHILDREN: Steven Moore (Jennifer), Jesse Holtschlag and Cody Holtschlag all of Quincy.
HIS GRANDCHILDREN: Mackenzie Moore and Jordan Moore.
HIS SIBLINGS: Connie Holtschlag, Arthur “Chester” Holtschlag; Kathy (Terry) Post; Ed Holtschlag, Curt (Deby) Holtschlag; Mary Ely, Chris (Kevin) Drummond and Paul Holtschlag all of Quincy.
SISTER-IN-LAW: Margaret Holtschlag
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: David ‘Mike’ Holtschlag, Rich Holtschlag and Bill Holtschlag
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery with military rites conducted at the cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 4-7 PM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
