Grace F. Bettison, age 93, of Quincy, formerly of Scottsdale, AZ and Leawood, KS died on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 22, 1925, in Peoria, IL the daughter of Hugh Lawrence and Florence (Diamond) Flynn. Grace married Thornton Meriwether Bettison, Jr. on May 26, 1950. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Laurie Bettison Harrel of Overland Park, KS, Judy (Dean) Bettison Chew of Quincy. Three grandchildren: Nicholas Harrel IV, Laura Chew, and Cory (Jesslyn) Chew. One great grandchild, Carson Dean Chew.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother, Hugh Diamond Flynn.

Cremation rites were accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Duker & Haugh Funeral home is handling the arrangements.
