Glenn E. Wilmore, age 54 went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2018. Glenn was born the son of Mary Ruth Wilmore and Livingston Wilmore, Jr. on September 3, 1963.

Glenn went to Austin High School in Chicago, IL. He left Chicago in January of 2010 and joined his mate Gwendolyn Brooks in Quincy, IL.

Glenn was hard worker and made sure he always had employment through Addeco Work Force.

Glenn loved to play billiards, roller skate and listen to R & B music. He also loved children, his family and friends. Glen was a joy to be around. He loved making people laugh and have a good time. Everyone loved being around him. He spoke frequently of his grandchildren and loved to look them up on Facebook.

Glenn leaves to cherish his memory, his mate, Gwendolyn Brooks, two sons: Derrick and Denzel Wilmore, three brothers: Melvin, Ralph and Greg Wilmore; two sisters: Darlene White and Patricia Wilmore all from Chicago; three granddaughters and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Anthony Wilmore.

Private services will be held at a later date.
