Glenn A. Sapp
Glenn A. Sapp, age 78, of Maywood, MO, died on Friday, August 31, 2012 in Hannibal Regional Hospital. He was born on July 3, 1934 in Martinsburg, IL, a son of Logan & Hazel C. (Cattlet) Sapp. He married Shirley Armstead on June 10, 1960 in St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2000.
Glenn was a laborer for Local 919 until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 – 1958.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include, one son, Guy C. Sapp of Quincy; a daughter, Stormy Smith and her husband Al of Maywood, MO; five grandchildren, Ronald Seckman, Jr. & Nicholas Seckman of KY, Robert Smith, Allen Smith & William Smith, all of Maywood, MO; and one great-grandchild, Maddison Harness of Quincy; two brothers, Vincil Sapp and his wife Vera of Rockport, IL and Robert Lee Sapp of Pittsfield, IL.
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
In addition to his wife, Shirley, he was preceded in death by his parents and three children, Linda Joann Sapp, Rebecca Sapp and Wendy Seckman; a sister, Mary Louise and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Sapp.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Perry Wells Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, IL. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Neighbor with Glenn for many years. Drank alot of jameson and had alot of fun. He’ll be missed. My heart goes out to his family.
