GLADYS L. MEYER OBITUARY

Gladys L. Meyer, age 88, of 921 South 9th Street, Quincy, died on January 31, 2008 at 6:34 a.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born on October 22, 1919 in Hull, Illinois. She was a daughter of Pearl and Nettie (Robbins) Smith. She married Wilbur G. Meyer on June 18, 1949 in St. Francis Catholic Church. He preceded her in death.

Gladys was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include:
THREE SONS: Clarence W. Meyer, Richard D. Meyer, and Phillip R. Meyer all of Quincy;
TWO GRANDAUGHTERS: Jennifer L. Meyer and Nicole S. Meyer both of Quincy;
ONE SISTER: Onita Hayes of DeKalb, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, two sisters, and one daughter-in-law, Eileen Meyer.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
