Gerald L. “Jerry” Frericks
Gerald L. “Jerry” Frericks, age 84, of Peoria, IL, formerly of Quincy, died on Monday, April 29, 2013 in Peoria.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held Monday morning from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jerry was a beloved friend and he will be sorely missed. He was kind and a good person and oh SO funny and boy did he love the birthday cherry pies that I made for him (wish I could have made just one more though). Our sincere condolences to Martha, Bob, Jan and the other family mambers. We are so saddened by the loss of our good friend Jerry — we will never forget him and we take some comfort knowing that Jerry is again with his wonderful Lee. Prayers and peace to you all at this time of mourning.

I worked with Jerry for several years when he worked for CMT in Montgomery, IL. He was very dear and kind to me. I’m very saddened to hear of his passing. He holds a special place in my heart. He was a wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Joan Simane
