Gerald C. Pate, age 86, of Astoria Garden Nursing Home, Astoria, Illinois, formerly of Mt. Sterling, Illinois, died on Monday, September 28, 2009 in Astoria. Private graveside services were held. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, Quincy, handled the arrangements.
