Georgia Geiger, age 87, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in the Good Samaritan Home. She was born on November 30, 1932 in Joliet, IL the daughter of George and Johanna (Rummenie) Geiger. Georgia was a 1950 graduate of Quincy High School. Georgia was a secretary for Met Life Insurance Company for over 35 years, retiring in 1988.

She was very active in St. Francis Catholic Church volunteering in the choir and at the school.

Georgia is survived by:
NIECES AND NEPHEWS: Dennis (Cheri) Greving; David (Christine) Greving; Diane (Douglas) Albrecht; Daniel (Shelley) Greving; Donna (Richard) Omer; Debra (James) Hoffman; David (Sandra) Greving; Donald Greving; and Darren (Amy) Greving.
Great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews along with numerous other relatives including M. Joanne Greving also survive.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Maxine Geiger Greving along with her husband Melvin and a brother Richard Geiger.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10:00 until the time of the services at 11:00. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Parish.
