Gaylord Quentin Bell

Gaylord Quentin Bell age 90, of 1103 Madison died on Sunday, October 28, 2012 in Sunset Home. He was born September 3, 1922 in Quincy a son of Sam R. and Lillian (Pollock) Bell. He married Donna (Stathem) Naderhoff in 2003 and she survives.

Quentin worked for CIPS, retiring after 35 years.

He was a 1941 graduate of Quincy High School and a member of Vermont Street United Methodist Church. Quentin was a member of the Elks Club, he loved to travel and had visited Florida, the Western States and Canada.

In addition to his wife, Donna, survivors also include his son Roger Quentin Bell of Quincy; two step sons, David Allen Naderhoff and his wife Libby and Douglas Michael Naderhoff all of Quincy;
One grand daughter, Marsha Lundberg and her husband Eric of Palmyra, MO;
Two great-grandchildren, Jackson Ryan Lundberg and Jonathon Wayne Lundberg;
One step-grand daughter, Raina Naderhoff and two nephews also survive.

Quentin was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Kenneth Bell, a sister Madelaine Penn, two sons, Bruce Allen and Steven Philip Bell in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Sheila Kelly. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Duker & Haugh. Memorials are suggested to Vermont Street United Methodist Church. www.dukerandhaugh.com
