Gary Wayne Gray, age 49, of 1000 North 18th Street, Quincy, died on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 10:10 p.m. in his home. He was born on June 18, 1960 in Quincy, Illinois, a son of Carl L. and Delores (Tourney) Gray.

Gary was of the Baptist faith.

He worked at Harris Corporation as a Draftsman prior to a motorcycle accident.

Painting and drawing were his passions. He loved gardening with his fiancee, Janet.

Survivors include:
MOTHER: Delores Gray of Edina, MO;
FIANCEE: Janet Davis Marquette of Quincy;
ONE BROTHER: Dennis Gray and his wife Maura of Sioux City, IA;
ONE HALF BROTHER: Carl Lea Gray, II and his wife Joy of Quincy;
Two HALF SISTERS: Karen Cobb Schaefer and her husband Roger of Quincy;
Phyllis Giban and her husband Matthew of Galesburg, IL;
Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Carl L. Gray.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery by the Rev. George Tomko.
There is no public visitation but family and friends are invited to the graveside services.
Memorials are suggested to Blessing Foundation for HOSPICE.
