Gary Nicholas age 68, of Quincy, formerly of Cleveland, OH died on Friday, January 17, 2020 in Blessing Hospital. Gary was born in Cleveland on March 3, 1951, a son of Auggie and Lillian (Bardos) Nicholas.

He had worked as a carpenter in the building trades prior to retiring. Gary was a loving and endearing grandpa to his three grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Chris Nicholas and wife Melissa; Barb Nicholas, Chris’s Mom; and grandchildren, Trevor, Callie and Seth Nicholas all of Quincy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

To honor his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No services are planned at this time. Memorials are suggested to Fishers of Men. Cremation arrangements in care of Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.
