Freeda M. Wardlow

Freeda M. Wardlow, age 88, of North Adams Home, Mendon, IL, died on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in the home. She was born on September 30, 1926 in Missouri, a daughter of Nola Pinkston. She married John W. Wardlow, Jr. on November 24, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2013.

Freeda was employed by Motorola in Quincy prior to her retirement.

She is survived by:
A DAUGHTER, Diana Winner of Quincy;
TWO GRANDDAUGHTERS, Khris (Don) Johnson of Nebo, IL and Amanda (Jermaine) Walker of Quincy;
EIGHT GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, Brandon, Brian & Brad Johnson, Cassidie, Meghan & Trae Winner and Tristan & Aiden Walker;
SEVEN GREAT-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN also survive.

In addition to her husband John, and her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles & Clyde.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in Greenmount Cemetery. There is no visitation but family and friends are invited to the graveside services. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

    Dianna, I am sorry for your loss. Aunt Freeda was so very good to me and she was such a kind person. I will remember the good times I had with her and her wonderful laugh. She will be missed, and thought of often.
