Frank Louis Musolino

Frank Louis Musolino, age 77, of 914 North 50th Street, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in his home. He was born October 17, 1936 in Quincy, to Louis and Goldie (Elick) Musolino. He married Esther Frericks on October 27, 1956 in St. John’s Catholic Church in Quincy. She survives.

He was a 1954 graduate of Quincy High School. Frank was in the U.S. Navy Reserves for eight years, and retired from the Illinois Veteran’s Home after working there thirty-five years.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Mississippi Hunters and Fishermen Association, South Side Boat Club, the Elks and the American Kennel Club where he raised, trained and showed German Shepherds.

Frank was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan.

Frank was the father of Drew Musolino of Quincy, Giovanna Klocke of Knox City, MO, Lucia (Henry) Geise of Quincy, Todd (Cindy) Musolino of Quincy and Polly (Gene) Geist of Bethalto, IL; grandfather to Josh and Ashley Musolino of Quincy, Taylor and Logan Klocke of Knox City, MO, and McKenna and Kade Geist of Bethalto, IL. One sister, Mary Lou (Harry) Miller of Branson, MO and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Nancy Veile, Joan McHenry and Mary Kay McGhee.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10:45 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and 11:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church by Rev. Mark Schulte and Rev. Thomas Hagstrom. Cremation rights will accorded after the services, with burial in Calvary Cemetery later this week. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Quincy Notre Dame, St. Anthony School or Donor’s Choice.
