Frances Meyers, age 81, of Macomb, formerly of Quincy, died on November 19, 2023 in Macomb. She was born on May 26, 1943 in Quincy the daughter of Arthur and Eva (Burkenbile) Lummer. She married Arthur Meyers. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Frances had worked at the Travelodge and later in the dietary at Good Samaritan Home. She was of the Christian Faith. Frances enjoyed Jigsaw puzzles and fishing.

She is survived by:
HER CHILDREN: Lucy Ballard (Kenneth) of LaGrange, MO; Russell Meyers (Lydia) of Canton, MO; Clarence Meyers of Quincy; Lora Meyers of Quincy; Roger Meyers (Angie) also of Quincy and Rosie Meyers of Kirksville, MO.
Siblings: Loren Lummer (Nancy) and Lois Bryant (Bill)
Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, and siblings: Art Lummer, Catherine Bence, Janet Plowman, Doris Finley, and Ralph Lummer.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
