Evelyn Marie Kramer, age 91, of the Sycamore Healthcare Center, formerly of 1313 N. 12th Street, Quincy, died on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the Center. She was born on February 4, 1924 in Quincy, a daughter of John P. & Selma E. (Geise) Lenane. She married W. Morey Kramer on August 25, 1951 in St. Rose Catholic Church in Quincy. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1987.

Evelyn was formally a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Evelyn was very proud of her Irish heritage. Evelyn lived her life with integrity, and possessed a willingness and dedication to helping others. She had the ability to be very direct, and lovable at the same time.

She is survived by a sister Madeline Kemner of Quincy.

In addition to her husband, Morey, and her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Barney J. Riley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Church.
