Dave and Alicia, I cannot send enough deepest sympathy to you during this terrible sadness. Take comfort knowing that Ethan had such an incredible impact on everyone around him and so many more who never even met him. He will not be forgotten. He will live on in your hearts and in the hearts of many. In those dark moments in which you feel you simply cannot go further, take a deep breath, think of your beautiful boy and let his love surround you and give you strength. I love you guys so much. Valerie

My heart and prayers go out to you all during this time. Though the loss is great, may God give you great comfort and assurance. He was precious. Children are a gift to us to nurture, train and care for. No one could have asked for more caring love than your family showed during his short time here. May God bless and keep you!

What a brave soldier little Ethan was; if tears could return him to us, he’d be here, bigger than life itself. His memory will certainly keep life in perspective for all of us, forever. What a sweetie pie he was. God bless you Dave, Alicia, Ava and all of your extended family.

Ethan sweetheart my heart aches at your passing. You were the most adorable little boy at mommy’s volleyball games! It was always a delight when you were present to cheer us on! All who knew you are sure to hold tight to the memory of your ways and tenderness of your spirit. You will be missed dearly and thought of often…

I am so sorry to hear of your loss but I am so glad Ethan is now with Jesus. I remember reading about his seeing Jesus at the hospital and the stories of Ethan’s bravery still bring tears to my eyes. My own little boy is only a year older than Ethan and has asked about him during our prayer time. Dagon very much wants to meet Ethan but now will have to wait until we get to Heaven. God Bless you and your family. You are an inspiration and example of faith and strength to us all. You are in our prayers as your little one rides off into the sunset.

It is with great sadness that I write this. The website during Ethan’s illness was so filled with the spirit of a little boy with spunk and joy. What a gift he was even for such a short time! My prayers are with you for strength in the months to come!

Dear Weiman Family — Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Ethan was a special little boy — Ethan and our Hannah were in Pre-school together this past year. I loved seeing your little cowboy! Wanted to let you know that this past Sunday we lifted your family up in prayer at the Ursa Park Festival Worship service. Your entire community loves you and is here for you. God Bless! Ethan is riding horses today in heaven!

I am a co-worker of Cassandra Stubblefield’s and she introduced me to your blog (you are a very gifted scrapbooker/card maker). I loved seeing the pictures of the “Cowboy Trip” of Ethan and your family. I simply wanted to let you know that, even though we’ve never met, I’m praying for you and your family. May God bring you peace.
