Emmett A. Liesen
Emmett A Liesen, age 76, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in his home. He was born on May 2, 1945 in Quincy the son of Francis A. & Viginia J. (Wigge) Liesen.
He is survived by FIVE SIBLINGS: Joe F. Liesen (Nancy); Dennis Liesen (Evalyn Lucille), David Liesen (Diane), Thomas J. Liesen and Virginia Steinkamp.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law: Lawrence Steinkamp.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 9:30 at the Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home with military rites conducted at the Cemetery by the American Legion Post #37 and the Illinois National Guard Honor Detail. Emmett was a great friend and co-worker. We enjoyed spending Christmas with Emmett and hearing his stories. We also enjoyed his love of music boxes.
