Emma Louisa Bell

Emma Louisa Bell, age 56, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in her home. She was born on November 11, 1964 in Peoria, IL. She was the daughter of Morris and Gladys (Baskin) Bell. Emma was of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by:
CHILDREN: Demetrius D. Bell; Walter W. Clark; Sloane A. Clark; Precyous N. Clark and Rico D. Clark.
SIBLINGS: Sheila Griffin (Bryan Hill); Linda Gray (Wayne); Phyllis Shields (Nick Farmer) and Sharon Shields.
15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Rita Faye McClain; Sherry Jackson, Valeria Griffin; Michelle Shields and Lonnie Shields along with her niece: Tameka Griffin Morris.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM in First Baptist Church, Quincy. A Celebration of Life at Kesler Park will be held following the Saturday memorial service. Memorials may be made to the Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    I have never met a more loving, honest and free spirit. You may not want to hear what she had to say or how she was about to say it, but it was real. I am glad I met her when I did, because I needed those little life lessons. To her family, siblings, children and more, I pray one day you find peace with her passing.
