Elizabeth “Betty” A. Price

Elizabeth “Betty” A. Price, age 82, of Sunset Home, formerly of 723 N. 49th St., Quincy, died on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the home. She was born December 21, 1929 in Quincy, the daughter of Ralph & Corinne (McVicar) Rossmiller. She married Frederick G. Price on October 8, 1949 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1998.

Betty was previously employed by Quincy Paperbox as an assembler. She was a member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary S.S.B.C. She loved to play cards, whether it was a game of euchre, pinochle or poker.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Betty is survived by one daughter, Judy Wagner and her husband Jim of Bloomington, IN; one grandson, Tim Wagner and his wife Erin of Omaha, NE, and a great-grandson, Joseph Raymond Wagner. Two sister-in-laws also survive, Ginny Rossmiller and Dorothy (Bob) Deters, both of Quincy along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles & William Rossmiller and a daughter, Debbie Price.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home followed by a mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church Altar Society.
