    My Dear Pat,
I will have a mass for Terry very soon, and I will keep him in my prayers. Its been 49 years ago this June, I met you at St. Lawrence chapel when I served there and as you played the organ, you, Father Loyola and myself made a good team!. so many good thoughts and fun times we all had, and was a great pleasure in knowing you Terry and your daughthers as will as your Mom and Dad too.
Terry was a great guy and so good to you too, my God now be very good to him. Though I am in St. Louis, and have so many good connections in Quincy, know I am praying for you all too, God Bless you and my His soul and all the faithful departed have peace now,
    Love,
    Paul Geers

    Dear Pat and family,

Please accept our condolences on the passing of your husband and father. Terry was a very good man and never knew a stranger. I remember you or Terry giving either me or my brothers a ride home from Soldiers Home on inclement days after Mass and this was very much appreciated.
May God comfort and strengthen you in your time of loss and sorrow.
Pat, I didn’t know that Sue knew you but she told me you two would always talk when you came through her line at Kmart.

It is a sadder day for us to learn of Terry’s passing. We are fortunate to have known such a wonderful person. Dick first met Terry in American Legion baseball, then classmates at Quincy University and finally friends in the Bogey Busters Golf League at Westview. To Pat and your fine family, we hope God’s Blessings and your meaningful memories will bring comfort in the days ahead.

To the family, my thoughts are with you. Terry was a terriffic person and a real key to the Herald Whig’s success. I was fortunate to learn from him as a summer employee and he was always a great teacher.
