Edward Dale Gille, age 51, of Quincy, IL went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2011. He passed away in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital after a long, courageous battle with diabetes. He was born on December 28, 1959 in Quincy, the son of Lawrence & Mary Belle (Woodson) Gille. Edward was self-employed. He was a member of the Salvation Army. Edward was a Christian and loved to share his faith and the gospel. Edward loved to joke around, he loved puzzles and in earlier years, greatly enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by:
FOUR SIBLINGS: Judy Emery and her husband Clifford, Jimmie Gille and his wife Cheryl, Allen Gille and his wife Glenda, and Leo Gille and his wife Judy all of Quincy.

Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM in Greenmount Cemetery by Rev. Tom Rains. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the graveside services. Memorials may be made to the Family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
