Duane Anthony Arcaro

Duane Anthony Arcaro age 73, of Quincy died on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in his home. Duane was born December 9, 1944 in Ashtabula, OH a son of Anthony Rubin and Dorothy Arlene (Artman) Arcaro. He married Mary Helen White on April 8, 1994, and she survives.

Duane had several occupations throughout his lifetime, he had owned his and operated a carwash, and in later years he enjoyed buying and selling items. He was of the Baptist faith. Duane liked to cook and bake. Babysitting his grandchildren was always something he looked forward to. He would get-up early on the days they were coming so he could have everything ready for them.

In addition to his wife, survivors also include: his four children, Danny Arcaro of Florida; Donny Arcaro, Sky Arcaro and Shay (Shane Belknap) all of Quincy; his stepchildren, Randy Russell of Quincy; and Beth Russell Scott both of Quincy; Becky Hill of Poplar Bluff, MO; grandchildren, Layla and Leopold Belknap; a brother, Robbie (Pam) Arcaro of Beardstown, IL; and numerous step-great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and step-children, Charla Grafton and Andrew Russell.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private interment services to be at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Blessing Cancer Center.

    Our lives crossed paths on many different occasions. Duane always treated me right and I considered him a friend. I know he will be missed by his family and friends. God bless you Duane.
