Douglas M. Frese
Douglas M. Frese, age 51, of 2303 Jersey, died on Monday, July 9, 2018 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on June 11, 1967 in Quincy, the son of Don & Paula (Baker) Frese. He was a 1985 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame. Doug was a realtor with Davis & Frese Realtors.
Doug was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and was also a ‘Crossword Puzzle King’.
Doug is survived by:
HIS PARENTS: Don and Paula Frese of Quincy
HIS CHILDREN: Grace Frese and Gavin Frese
HIS SISTERS: Tamara (Sessions) Meade of O’Fallon, MO and Rebekah (Jim) Ferguson of Maple Grove MN.
Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents: Delmer and Laurine Frese and Don and Dorothy Baker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Quincy Notre Dame, St. Peter Catholic Church or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
I just learned of Doug’s passing and it’s difficult for me to understand. We had a relationship when in our 20s and I cherish the wonderful times we had. My condolences to his family and children.

I was devastated to hear this news. Doug was a great young man and one of my favorites in the Class of ’85 at QND. I will pray that God fill your hearts and minds with only the great memories you created with Doug and that HE will give you the strength you need in the days ahead. God Bless.
