Everyone was better off for knowing Dorothy. She had a way of making everyone feel important and if you ever visited she made it feel like your 2nd home. She had the best smile !

I cherish the memories of visiting with Dorothy and the family as a child during the summers. She was so joyful and kind. She will forever be in my heart. I know she is at peace now that she is in the loving arms of Our Lord.

My husband, Jim, and I are very sad at the loss of my sister-in-law, Dorothy. Since I was young when she and my brother, Clovie, married she was like a sister. We have many fond memories. I will remember her every time I use one of her many recipes she shared. Their four sons, my nephews, are like kid brothers to me. We are very glad we were able to visit with her in July. Even though we will not be able to attend her services we will be there in spirit. Many prayers for all. Love, Ruth and Jim

My sympathy to the family of Dorothy. I did not know her long – St. Peter started a ministry last Easter of sending cards and letters to shut-ins. I got Dorothy’s name and address, and began sending her weekly cards with little daily devotions. I continued the practice after Easter was past, and not long before she passed away, she called me to thank me. I’m so glad she enjoyed them and maybe found some inspiration from them. I was hoping to go visit her when the COVID restrictions were lifted, but that was not to be. She was not able to write back to me, so I didn’t get to know her, but I have included her in my prayers since beginning the cards. From the obituary, she sounds like a lady with a lot of faith. I know she’s with Jesus now. Know she will be missed by all of you..
