Ann, Sue – Sorry to hear about Aunt Dorothy. I know she always perked up when Mark and I visited over Labor Day. She still could manage some humor! I always loved the fact she took care of Aunt Marian in her final years. May you find comfort knowing how much we loved your mom.

To the Messick family, I know that the passing of your mom is hard, and she will be missed by the families at STV and CHC. I want to take this opportunity to remind you that you now have two more ears to hear your prayers, two more hands to guide your actions, another spirit that will protect you and another voice talking with God to keep him involved in your lives. I give my deepest sympathies to your family as losing her will leave a hole in your hearts that cannot be refilled, but she still loves you and as long as she is still in your thoughts and prayers she is still alive through you. Peace and love to you all, Liz

Please know my sympathy and prayers at this time of Dorothy’s death. Both Wayne and Dorothy were so supportive of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ and their ministries. Now they have both met Blessed Catherine Kasper in person in heaven. What a great joy that must have been! May our loving God comfort all of you for your great parents.

    Ann and Sue,
Our family will always feel indebted to your mom and dad. They were mentors, friends, partners and traveling companions of my parents. Dorothy and Wayne were a class act, and top shelf people. If someone would want to better his life, just try and be like Dorothy and Wayne.
    You have our sympathy.
    Blain and Donna Richard
