Dorothy H. Brown, age 80, of 2130 Harrison, formerly of 3600 Biscayne, died on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 2:25 AM in Good Samaritan Home. She was born on January 2, 1936 in Loraine, IL the daughter of Glen & Hazel Adair. She married Clifford Brown on November 24, 1967 in Madison Park Christian Church. He survives.

Mrs. Brown enjoyed fishing, interior decorating and time spent with family.

THREE STEP-CHILDREN: Joyce Johnsen and her husband Brad of St. Charles, IL; Carol Foster and her husband Don of Lakewood, IL; and Richard Brown and his wife Cindy of Schaumburg, IL.
ONE GRANDCHILD: Zachary Stolberg.
NINE STEP-GRANDCHILDREN: Gary Johnsen and his wife Elissa; Phil Johnsen and his wife Erin; Julie Cumblad and her husband Alex; Steve Foster and his wife Kirsten; Greg Foster and his wife Jennifer; Carrie Nielsen and her husband Bill; Richard Brown Jr. and his wife Jamie; Jeremy Brown and his wife Stacy; Corey Brown and his wife Gina.
STEP-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Derek Johnsen; Claire, Emily and Brooke Johnsen; Ashley & Brandon Foster; Gavin & April Nielsen; Shawna, Logan, Riley, Autumn and Talon Brown; and Caden Brown.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Adair and two sisters: Betty Emery and Mary Daugherty.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Home. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
