To my grandmother whom I love and miss so dearly. Although I know you have moved on to a better place, my heart deeply mournes. I miss the way you sat in your favorite chair calling me Missy poo, poo. I can hear your dear sweet voice every minute of each day. I love you Grandma and you will always be in my heart. To my family, I love you all and wish I could be there, but as I prepare to bring a new life into the world, my spirit and heart is there with you all. I miss you all and wish I could be there with you. I love you all so very much. I am sending all my love. God bless.

I know how you are feeling today because I have been through it. If we keep our hands in God’s hand we can make it. Yes, you will think of her everyday and there are good memories of your Mom but she is resting in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am praying for your strength today. Love You and God Bless You.

Word’s cannot express the deep sorrow that I feel. Though death is a natural process that we all must go through, it is still difficult to accept. Especially when you lose someone that you have loved and cherished your entire life. I will always remember how much Aunt Doris supported and believed in me. Her love and encouragement gave me strength during my teenage years and courage in my adult life. She always told me that I can do whatever I set my mind to.

I want my family to know that even though I cannot be there to celebrate Aunt Doris’ life and transition with you. My heart is there to strengthen and support all of you.

    Love Always,
    Shonnie Boy

To the Family of Doris Washington,

We were really sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. We both know that she is now in a better place with her suffering gone.

Your loved one will always be with you; her spirit and good will be part of you no matter where you go. I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your loved one but the time you did spend with her meant so much to her. She loved you very much and I know you will miss her terribly. But remember weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning.

We wanted to let you know that the members of 5th Street Christian Church Columbia Missouri are here for you at any time you need us – just to listen, talk, or pray for you and with you.

With Our Deepest Sympathy, Prayerfully Submitted,

The Members and Officers of 5th Street Christian Church

    Rev. Jerry Ellison, Pastor

    Mrs. Martha Williams, Condolence Clerk

    Minister Angela Williams, Condolence clerk
