Donald R. Kinard, age 74, of 929 Ohio, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 4:04 AM in Blessing Hospital. He was born on April 26, 1937 in Quincy, IL the son of Charles S. & Ida Mae (Elschlager) Kinard. He married Shirley Simmons.

Mr. Kinard served in the United States Air Force. He was of the Christian Faith. Donald loved to learn foreign language and watch movies. Donald was a very giving and philanthropic person.

He is survived by:
TWO BROTHERS: Charles W. Kinard and his wife Tamara of Quincy, Jimmy Kinard and his wife Beatrice of San Antonio, TX;
TWO SISTERS: Shirley Sederwall and her husband Richard of Quincy, IL and Bonnie Nelson and her husband Richard of Rogers, AR
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Bennie Kinard and sister: Norma Jean Fallon.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery with military rites conducted at the cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to Plan USA.
