Donald L. Miller
Donald L. Miller, age 64, of Quincy, IL died on Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on February 1, 1960 in Quincy, the son of Daniel and Mary Lou (Weisenburger) Miller. He married Janice Waterkotte on July 12, 1980. She survives.
Don was a carpenter for Waterkotte Construction. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Don loved sports. He was a longtime member of the Quincy Notre Dame Football Committee. He loved to cook for his family and friends and spend time on his land in Canton, MO.

HIS CHILDREN: Erin Meyer (Arron) of Springfield, Il; Nicole Darnell (Travis) of St. Louis, MO; Claire Miller of Springfield, IL; Alex Miller (Jillian) of Castle Haynes, NC; Connor Miller of Anchorage, AK; and Benjamin Miller of St. Louis.
HIS GRANDCHILDREN: Owen and Miles Meyer; Harper, Mattie and Wesley Darnell; and Lena Miller.
His siblings: Don’s twin brother Daniel Miller (Chris), Dana Miller and Monica Ewing (Bruce).
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Marcia Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 9:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Notre Dame Football Committee. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Condolences to the Miller family. I was Marcia’s nurse years ago at St.Mary’s. Knew the whole family back then. Pleasant memories of the Miller’s. May memories sustain you during the days ahead.
