Dixie Lee Rardon

Dixie Lee Rardon age 83, Formerly of Osceola, MO died on Saturday,
January 17, 2015 in St. Joseph Hospital, St. Charles, MO. She was born
July 29, 1931 in Rigor, MO a daughter of Clarence Arthur and Rachel
Elizabeth (Thurlo) Rardon.

Dixie had worked as a saleslady at the former Baxter Mobile Homes of
Quincy for many years and was a bookkeeper
for Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO. from 1994 until she
retired in 1996. She was a member of Riverview Bible Church in
Osceola.

Dixie was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, and
she was a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Training Program. She liked
doing crafts and her hobbies included painting, crocheting and writing

Survivors include her children, William “Bill” S. Hester and his
wife Jacqueline of Bethel, MO; Michael “Mike” Hester of Quincy;
Jack S. Hester and his wife Vicki of Colorado; Crystal K. Paup and her
husband Robert of St. Charles, MO; Lori L. Norval and her husband
Michael of Osceola, MO; a brother, Charles Rardon of Steilacoom WA; 13
grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren
along with many nieces and nephews.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Arthur and
Dale Rardon; two sisters, Donna Demming and Betty Miller; and a
grandson, William Stephen Hester.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 1:30 p.m.
in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Pastor Michael Norval. Interment
will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:30
until 1:30p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the
Riverview Bible Church, 5715 SW 1001 Rd. Eldorado Springs, MO. 64744.
