Diane Durbin

Diane L. Durbin, age 69, of 2917 St. Anthony Rd, died on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10:45 AM in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 8, 1945 in Quincy, the daughter of Lester and Goldie (Viar) Robbins. She graduated from Unity High School. She married Jerry Durbin, Sr., on September 7, 1966 in Quincy. He survives. Mrs. Durbin worked as a CNA at Good Samaritan Home. She was a member of Luther Memorial Church. Diane was an avid collector of both ‘Precious Moments’ and Dolls. She loved to go camping and attend card parties.

In addition to her husband, Diane is also survived by:
THREE CHILDREN: Jerry Durbin Jr. and his wife Cindy of Payson, IL, Tim Durbin of Portage, MI, and Christine Broeker and her husband Jim of Quincy.
SIX GRANDCHILDREN: Courtney and Skyler Durbin, and Brandon, Eric, Gabbie and Nathan Broeker.
A BROTHER: Lawrence Robbins and his wife Carolyn.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: William ‘Bill’ Robbins, Jerry Robbins and Lester D. Robbins and a sister: Mary Salsman.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Pastor Tony Metz. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Cancer Center or to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
