Diana K. Taylor

Diana K. Taylor, age 74, of Quincy died on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in her home. She was born on December 7, 1949, in Quincy, the daughter of Elmo and Nellie (Tournear) Iams. Diana married Richard “Dick” T. Taylor on July 4, 1969, in Quincy. He survives.

Diana worked throughout her life at various local restaurants.
She retired as a manager at Sprouts after thirty years with the restaurant.

She loved traveling, taking cruises, weekend trips to St. Louis, and visiting friends in Florida. Diana was an avid reader. She liked working with young people and enjoyed training them to be successful.

Diana is survived by her husband, two sons; Richard “Rick” Taylor, II of Quincy and Ryan (Nikki) Taylor of Hannibal, MO; one granddaughter, Katie Taylor of North Hollywood, CA; step grandchildren, Tyler and Lucas Bush, and Stevie Griffin.
One brother, Jerry Iams of Quincy; and her best friend, Patty Doyle of Quincy. Nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Judy Kroencke and Dixie Dietrich.

There will be a private service for family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
Service arrangements are in the care of Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.

    We are so very sorry to hear this. Diana was always fun to be around. We have great, old memories of our St. Louis adventure as well as working with Diana at Spring Lake. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
