Devin P. Neisen

Devin P. Neisen, age 56, of Quincy, IL, died on December 9, 2022 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1966 in Quincy the son of Gerald and Nedra (Joiner) Neisen. Devin worked construction in the area and had most recently worked for County Contractors. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Devin was a down-to-earth, hardworking man, who valued family above all else. From farming to construction, he spent his life doing hard labor in order to provide for his family and loved ones. He was a simple man, never too worried about having nice things for himself, but always ready to lend others money or help at a moment’s notice. When not working, Devin enjoyed spending time with his step-granddaughter Kressley, taking truck rides back on the farm, mushroom hunting, fishing, and enjoying his favorite shows on the recliner in the evening. While anyone who knew Devin can tell you that he was a hard worker, his family also hopes for him to be remembered as a loving father, brother, son, and friend, who left a positive impact on the lives of so many. Devin will always be remembered for his strength, his humor, and his loyalty to those he loved.

In addition to his parents, Devin is also survived by:
DAUGHTER: Angelique Devin Neisen of Fowler
STEP-DAUGHTERS: Caley Legreid and Laurel Jones (Brian)
Step grandchildren including Kressley,
SIBLINGS: Jerry Neisen, Kurt Neisen (Heather) Brad Neisen (Kayla) and Dawn Neisen
Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
