So sorry to hear of Gomers death. My very first day at Titan Wheel, Murph left me in Gomer’s office while he we t to do something. I went to bend over and tighten up the laces on my steel toed boots and the chair was on rollers and flipped me right into the floor. Gomer immediately was asking if I was alright and helping me to get up. I thought it was over. Needless to say with Murph and Gomer I came to learn it is never over. Murph told me to ask Gomer why he was saying bad things about me. I said no, he is a boss. So Murph tells Gomer I was upset with him. Gomer asked me why I was upset. Murph told me I should tell him I heard what he said. I did and Gomer immediately turned all red faced and started cursing Murph. Then he was apologizing to me saying how he never said that. I still had no clue what was said. When I finally got to the bottom of it, Murph told Gomer he was going to tell me that Gomer had said when I hit the floor of his office, that it felt like an earthquake hit. I played it to the hilt for months and Gomer turned red Everytime. Loved working for go Gomer. A great man and boss. RIP my friend you are missed daily. Thanks for being such a great friend and boss.
