Dennis Lane

Dennis Lane – A Loving grandfather and father went to be with the angels above.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and dear friend Joe. He enjoyed fishing, cowboying it up, wood working, paint by numbers and working on the good ole ford he loved.

Throughout his life he joined the military, did roofing with his father then on his own.

He is preceded in death by his wife Martha C. Lane, parents: Jesse Lane & Venetia(Smock) Hawthorne, step father Alva Hawthorne, grandson Brycen Ames.

Survivors include sisters: Juanita Huffmen (Mike), Bonnie Ramsey(Bob), Darlene Boils (Russell), daughters Cassie Tetzloff(Jeff), Hope Cress(Damon), step daughter Kare Cissna(Bryan Ames), step son David Cissna, grandchildren: Nick, Kylee, Shawnae(BJ) ,Bryan(Dusti), Dawson, Jordan, Micheal, Starlynn, Keyanna, Ktrillion, Quintez, Kyler, Epic, Righteous, Eli, Gunner, and Dayven . One great grandson Conner and one great granddaughter due in April. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

There is a memorial service planned for Saturday, February 17th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Joker’s Lounge, 614 Maine St. Quincy, Illinois.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a good man & will be missed. Your Mom & Dad are together again & they’re also with Brycen. You already know that they’re having a great time with their 2 sweet grandsons. They are all still with you, they’re in spirit now. No more suffering,no more pain. Probably walking on the beautiful sidewalks made of gold, with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. May the good Lord above be with you all & help you through your sorrow. I love you all, Aunt Cathy
