Denise L. Bemis, age 66, of Plainville, IL, died on January 13, 2024 in her home. She was born on May 18, 1957 in Quincy. Denise was a nurse’s assistant for the Department of Human Services.

Denise liked birds and outdoor activities.

She is survived by several siblings, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents John H. and Charlotte L. (Miller) Bemis.

Per Denise’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded and no services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
