Delores A. ‘Dee’ Mast
Delores A. ‘Dee’ Mast, age 79, of Quincy, died on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in her home. She was born on July 30, 1941 in Peoria, IL. She was a graduate of Woodruff High School in Peoria. She married Marvin M. ‘Mike’ Mast on October 14, 1976. He survives.
Mrs. Mast was an Operating Room Tech at the former St. Mary’s Hospital. She then later worked as a tech at the OB Department at Blessing Hospital.
Dee was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. She loved horses and dachshunds and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by:
ELEVEN CHILDREN: Kevin Mast (Candy) of Quincy; Constance Patre (Jeff) of Palmyra, MO; Tina Taylor (Kenneth) of Peoria Heights, IL; Tania Mast (Eddie Miller) of Mossville, IL; Mark Shaner (Paula) of Peoria, IL; Trent Lane (Tish Emery) of Greenwood, IN; Damion Lane (Lynn Muth) of Quincy; Kimberly Pratt (Dennis) of Quincy; Jeffrey Mast (Dawn) of Rockwood, TN; Heather Kaylor (Alan Matticks) of Quincy and Cynthia Walker (Robert) of Quincy.
DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Martha Mast
Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Helen DeKloe, a son Gregory Mast and a grandson David K. Kirkpatrick II.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Catholic Church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
