Debra Sue Hickman
Debra Sue Hickman, age 58, of Quincy, died on Monday, December 28, 2020 in Keokuk, Iowa. Debra was born on August 10, 1962 in Quincy to James Edward and Marilyn Rosella (Manley) Hickman, Sr.
Debra attended Quincy High School. She had most recently worked at Denman Linen and had previously worked for many years as a telemarketer at APAC Telecommunications. She enjoyed bowling, playing darts and cherished the time she spent with her family and with the children especially.
Debra had a beautiful personality, a great love for life and will always be remembered as the life of the party.
Debra is survived by: her significant other, Michael McQuerry of Quincy; her siblings, Geneva Davis (Aaron), Jackie Osborne (Mike), John Hickman (Kim) and Donna Walters (Robert) all of Quincy; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends her special “pumkin” Alan Hickman and Michael’s son, Ray McQueery III.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Calvin E. Hickman Sr.
Private funeral services are planned. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. There will be no repast following the services. The family asks for their privacy.

My sincere condolences to the family. I’ll always remember Debbie’s contagious smile and laugh. I’ll always remember her giving spirit. Debbie was always willing to help others and I know she’s doing exactly that, helping others, wearing a sharp ass white dress in heaven.
