Debra Lynn Lenz

Debra Lynn Lenz, age 63, of Liberty, died on Monday, September 16, 2019 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on October 9, 1955 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Roy and Mary Jane (Kinder) Bradley. Debra was a graduate of Liberty High School. She married Mark Lenz on April 27, 1974. He preceded her in death.

Debra worked for Moorman Manufacturing and then for ADM for over 40 years.

Debra loved her family. She loved her horses and her dogs and especially her dog, ‘Oscar’ who was her baby. She enjoyed working in the yard and being outdoors. She liked camping. She also was a huge fan of NASCAR and Sprint Car races.

Survivors include her three children, Mike Lenz and his wife Kim; Shanna Tipton and her husband Gerald all of Liberty; and Joey Lenz of Quincy.
Step-Mother: Lorna Bradley.
Grandchildren: Tanner and Maiah Lenz, Cody Tipton, Autumn Lenz; Alexis Shaffer; Layne Tipton; Payton Flora, Hope and Eden Lenz. Two sisters: Carol Goodwin and Sharon Read.
Special Friend: Robert Zimmerman.
Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: Charles Bradley and one sister: Shirley Warning.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Liberty Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Medical Group Foundation.

    We are deeply sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. I didn’t know her but Alexis is like one of our kids due to her close friendship with our daughters Emily Perrine and Brandi Knight. Hugs and kisses Alexis!

    So sorry for your loss. I met Deb in Eminence with Robert and Laura, they camped next to us and we became friends on the spot she was a good person and I thought a lot of her. We rode horses, went to the Mexican Restaurant and had many good times together. I will miss her. Take care of each other she spoke of all her children and loved you all.
